Eyre Peninsula Railway Preservation Society Inc is an incorporated association (ABN 60 690 052 848).

The Society is registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profits Commission as a charity, and is endorsed by the ATO as a Deductible Gift Recipient, which means donations of $2 or more are tax deductible.

The Society holds South Australian Section 6 Charity Licence CCP3841.

Oversight of the Society is exercised by the Committee (elected by the members), which is responsible for governance and financial oversight. The Committee appoints the Operational Sub-committee which looks after day-to-day care, maintenance and operation of the museum and its archives.
